blockquote_img2Fantastic kitchens! Broadway fitted my family’s kitchen not too long ago… customer service and the quality of their work is exceptional!! Thank you for our perfect family kitchen.

Sarah-Lydia Shipley.

blockquote_img2We had seen so many kitchen companies before Broadway. However, when Sunny and his dad came, we were impressed with their knowledge and that they were able to manufacture the type of kitchen we were looking for. Now that the job has been completed, I can whole-heartedly recommend Broadway Kitchens. The whole process from start to finish was done in exactly the manner in which they described to us.”

blockquote_img2We have just had our second kitchen designed and fitted by Broadway as we have moved house. The first kitchen had been fitted some 7+ years before we moved and it looked as good on the day we moved as the day it was installed. We had no reservations in getting Sat, Amo and the team in again to design and install. It is a pleasure to work with a lovely family business and we are delighted with our new kitchen and would like to thank everyone involved. We are in the process of having some further rooms designed and we would recommend Broadway to anyone wanting a bespoke and top-quality kitchen.

Simone Franklin

blockquote_img2We were first made welcome by Broadway back in 2011, when we placed our kitchen order with them. Every section of this project from design, production and finally installation was performed to the very highest standard. The quality and level of attention to detail would not, in our opinion, have been matched by any other company. We were so pleased with the finished result that we went back to Broadway in 2015, where we once again received a very warm welcome and placed an order for our utility room to be designed and installed. Although, this project was considerably smaller than our kitchen design we received exactly the same level of service and attention, for which we can’t thank Broadway enough.

We have recently just placed our third order with them for a bespoke vanity unit to be made for our shower room. Once again we received a very warm welcome and have marvelled at the time and attention we have received in designing this one piece of furniture.

From our first meeting to the present day everyone at Broadway has welcomed and taken care of us, advised and astounded us and we can’t possibly thank you enough.

Thank you so very much Broadway for your visions and designs and turning our dreams into reality in producing furniture that we are so very proud of and will be able to enjoy forever.

Juliette Ling.

blockquote_img2Ben comments “Whilst I now have partial, limited movement in my hands and arms, it’s fair to say that I wouldn’t be able to cook. However, I can certainly assist Sonia by getting items out of cupboards. This really was the starting approach to our design brief; I wanted cupboards that I could reach and open with a push and a wide open space with no sharp edges for unimpeded access. This is why our design has rounded edges and no wall cupboards.”

Sonia comments, “You wouldn’t immediately recognise the little, subtle touches that have made this space not only successful as a vibrant exciting kitchen, but also, an enjoyable space for Ben. For example, the windows in the living room area have been lowered, just as with the light switches, so that Ben can easily see to outside and operate the light switches. There is a little breakfast bar that Ben can wheel himself up to, with access for his chair and legs; just the thing for a daytime snack or to work at his laptop. Even the American Fridge Freezer has been carefully selected so that the drawer and door handles are of a height that Ben can manage”.

Ben continues, “We both wanted lots of light given the amount of time that we spend in the room together and with friends and family. So we created some full wall height windows as well as designing into the scheme, bi-fold doors which open out onto our sun terrace and garden; ideal for the late spring and summer months”. Adjacent to the bi-fold doors is what one, on first glance, would think is a contemporary radiator. However, as Ben points out “Ha Ha – that has everyone fooled at first glance; it’s actually the hydraulic lift to take me to the upstairs. When our young nieces and nephews come to visit, I have to hide the key to the control panel since they love to go up and down!”

blockquote_img2“I’m not keen on ultra-modern, high-gloss kitchens and frankly, I think such a style would have just looked wrong in our period home. However, I didn’t want a design that was too ornate or over-fussy either. We really wanted a design that was clean and light in tone to reflect the abundance of daylight that floods into our conservatory; the extension that houses the kitchen. It also had to be practical with plenty of storage and worktop area whilst doubling up as a sociable space.” Lorraine sums up the end result perfectly “I love how Broadway’s designer, Satt, was able to work the shape of the room, producing custom-made furniture that’s beautifully in proportion with the architectural shape and dimensions; I don’t think ‘off-the-shelf’ furniture would have worked nearly as well. I also think the ‘fusion’ of traditional and contemporary kitchen styling hits the perfect balance between detail and simplicity”.

blockquote_img2“We wanted a large, sociable kitchen space for family get-togethers just as Broadway had created at our previous home. However, this time we were a little more confident and keen to try some new ideas from a family business that we already knew we could trust”. “We love what Satt and Sunny have done for us. As a family, we now spend more time in this part of the house than anywhere else. The room brings us all together more as a family; particularly the kids whom would otherwise simply disappear to their bedrooms!”

blockquote_img2To everyone at Broadway. Just to say a sincere thank you for the excellent work carried out at The Old Vicarage. We are truly delighted, you would think our kitchen was as originally built. Also the bedroom wardrobes are just perfect. Last but not least, what a wonderful company of people – nothing was too much trouble. We can’t wait for April when we take up residence! Best wishes.

B & K Battersby.

“We are both delighted beyond words with our Broadway kitchen”

“…In fact we will definitely be in touch for our next projects whenever and wherever they may be.”

“It’s just what we’ve waited for and to see the finished kitchen is wonderful as it’s turned out to be better than we could ever have imagined. Your computer images and hand drawings were a great representation of an opulent, luxury kitchen made to our exacting standards but no substitute for the real thing.”

“It is a befitting compliment to the original Manor House and puts back the love that so obviously went into all the original design features. It is now our main residence and we love it, if we ever decided to buy another house I would make Broadway my first choice for the kitchen. So thank you Satt for our beautiful kitchen traditional Victorian kitchen.”

“Peace of Mind was what motivated us to buy a Broadway Kitchen”

When Mr & Mrs Lamb invited Broadway to visit their newly completed bespoke kitchen it was a slightly puzzled employee who went along knowing that all had gone well.

The reality was that the Lambs wanted to say thank you to Broadway for giving them the ‘Peace of Mind’ which became the driving force and top decision-maker behind ordering their new hand built kitchen.

Knowing that others could have similar fears they wanted to tell their story, by way of an interview, for the benefit of potential kitchen customers, so the questions began:

What motivated you to approach Broadway?
“Well” said Mrs Lamb: “For more than 25 years we had been aware of Broadway Kitchens and the beautiful luxury kitchen showroom so we knew that the company had been around for a long time. We could see the quality of the designs and hand-crafted kitchen cabinetry but it all looked beyond our reach.”

Was that your main barrier to asking Broadway to quote?
“No, we didn’t know anybody who’d had a Broadway kitchen and we have always valued any personal recommendations.”

So why did you eventually contact Broadway?
“We decided to look at three companies including Broadway. Satt, the designer, came to see us and instantly assured us by offering to take us to see a Broadway Kitchen installed just down the road and to talk directly to those customers.

“As soon as we walked into that house we experienced the ‘Wow’ factor as it just jumped out at us. The customer then proceeded to show that it wasn’t just a stunningly good-looking, purpose-built kitchen but Barbara showed us how practical it was and where she would have gone wrong if Satt hadn’t diplomatically pointed out the disadvantages of her own original concept.

“Taking Barbara’s own initial ‘wish list’ into account she said that Satt made her and husband Eric feel very much part of the design process and so that, collectively, they designed a luxury kitchen that was exclusive to them and their lifestyle.”

So what was your next step?
“We then visited the showroom, where we could see modern, shaker and traditional kitchens our initial impression remained; that it was way out of our league. The showroom manager explained that the design service was free and without obligation so we had nothing to lose.

The subsequent design was so exclusive and so superior to the other company’s fitted kitchen efforts that we feared the price tag. However that was by far the biggest surprise and suddenly we realised that we weren’t just buying a top-design, bespoke kitchen, we were purchasing happiness and a luxury lifestyle at a price we could afford.”

Mr and Mrs Lamb.

blockquote_img2I would just like to say a huge thank you to everyone at Broadway Kitchens. We are absolutely delighted with our kitchen, and have received so many compliments from friends and family on our new bespoke kitchen and can’t believe the transformation from design to completion. Your staff and fitters have been wonderful to deal with, and there was never an issue or delay with us being based in Scotland. Your service has been first class and would be very grateful if you could relay our thanks to everyone at Broadway Kitchens. Best regards.

Mrs Marchetti, Edinburgh.

blockquote_img2I purchased my first fitted kitchen from Broadway Kitchens 25 years ago and was so pleased with the result that I have recommended you to Friends and Family ever since.

After 7 years my husband and I sold our house (the kitchen sold it for us!!) and we once again, used your company to refit the kitchen for us in our new home. Now, after 18 years the kitchen looks as good as it did then and all that is needed is to freshen up the sink and taps which have had a lot of wear and tear.

Upon contacting your company again, I was amazed at the excellent service that I once again received even though it was such a small job that was required. Also, I was pleased that you are still a family business and that you followed in your father’s footsteps and that your son, also, is now learning the business from you.

I give my permission to use this letter in any of your advertising as you have maintained the high standard of quality and service over the last 25 years and I wish you continued success for the future. Many thanks.

Mavis Hughes.

blockquote_img2When Walsall couple, Mike and Rita Kimberley decided on a new kitchen – rather than move to a bungalow – the natural choice for them was Broadway, the bespoke kitchen designers and manufacturers.

“We were looking for a kitchen that suited us and the way we live,” said Mike, “and having looked at ‘off the shelf’ options, we decided that a more individual approach was right for us. We were already aware of Broadway as our previous kitchen had been fitted by them in 1986, but it was time for a change. That’s where the Broadway team, headed by Satt Sembhy, came in.”

Rita said, “Satt provided a fantastic service from start to finish. He listened to what we wanted and produced a number of options, with all prices detailed, for us to consider. We were able to discuss our options further at the Streetly showroom and view them on a large screen, which helped bring the designs to life. He was very open and approachable with great judgement. For example, he suggested creating two angled work surfaces which have given us more space for food preparation. It’s creative touches like that that make all the difference to the finished result.”

“When it came to the installation, trust and reliability were very important to us. We certainly found that to be true with Broadway,” said Mike. He continued, “The whole job ran smoothly with fitters, electricians and plumbers all expertly co-ordinated. “They cared about creating the best result for us. For example, when the old kitchen was removed, a disused air duct was revealed. At Satt’s suggestion it was removed enabling us to create more useful cupboard space. This sort of care and attention gives you peace of mind – they want to be satisfied it’s the best possible job too.”

“We’re very happy with the result,” said Rita, “and if we ever do move to our bungalow, we wouldn’t hesitate in calling Satt and the team for a new kitchen again.”

Mike and Rita Kimberley.

blockquote_img2I have had both my Kitchen and then my Bathrooms all refurbished fully by Broadway. They deliver high quality work to agreed dates. The whole organisaton is a great business from Satt, Amo to all the fitters – an absolute joy. I have already recommended to many of my own family/friends. If you’re thinking of doing your Kitchen or Bathroom they really are a great choice. Many Thanks.

24 years of living with a Broadway kitchen

Back in 1990 Martin and Jane Smith had bought a home together in Little Aston and although finances were very tight the tiny kitchen with its dark chocolate brown floor and wall tiles plus a small pine bench and table for dining was high on the list of things to change.

A kitchen extension was soon underway and the couple went to a showroom where they were presented with a standard design and standard bolt-together units at a fairly high price. As Martin got up to leave the salesman dropped the price by 25% and Martin realised that unwitting customers were being overcharged so that salesmen could reach target. Martin and Jane then approached Broadway with some trepidation, expecting to pay dearly for such known high quality but the quality, exclusive design and price tag were all smack on target. Dealing direct with the manufacturer and the company owner of Broadway meant that the couple weren’t going to paying for salesmen and retailers nor being sold a stereotypical off-the-shelf kitchen.

As Martin and Jane enthuse, “When we first met Satt we were amazed, all those years ago, to see that he had a computer-based design package and incredible skills to create not just what we needed and envisaged but also to inject fairly revolutionary design features which have served us incredibly well. We worked side-by-side, as a team of three, to turn our dream into reality at a sensible price.

“We didn’t want high stools at a breakfast bar so Satt designed a low level peninsular worktop table in a hexagonal shape. That area alone has successfully survived the hard wear and tear of a full family presence for almost every meal.

“Light grey worktops, cornices and kick strips complement the white doors and light flooring to add an extra colour dimension. These colours are light enough to make the room seem so much bigger yet the Broadway recommendation to us came at a time when many people were still opting for dark brown doors and floors. This colour choice was very far-sighted and has helped the kitchen to cross many style and fashion eras.

“The whole project was undertaken by Broadway and the company’s fitters even ingeniously incorporated our existing dishwasher into the cupboards almost before integrated appliances had become the norm. Nothing was too much trouble.”

Despite heavy daily use by the Smiths and three children the kitchen “still looks as good as it did 24 years ago.”

Now that the children have fled the nest and Martin has retired the time has come to downsize and move to a more-rural location but the couple wanted Satt to see the kitchen in all its glory before they sell the house. Martin and Jane Smith have rekindled their acquaintance with Satt, who has designed almost every Broadway kitchen since he and his father founded the company some 40 years ago, now they feel confident in purchasing a house where the kitchen needs changing.

M and J Smith.

blockquote_img2What helped us as much as anything was that nothing was too much trouble and Satt, the Broadway designer who had designed our previous kitchen, brought all the samples, draft designs and colour visuals to us at home so we didn’t even have to venture outside. Our thoughts, wishes and the Broadway promises were carried out to the letter.

We are absolutely delighted with our new kitchen and everyone who visits remarks on the stylish modern design, practicality and quality. The Broadway project manager and the wonderful workers were a fabulous team – we can’t fault anything that they did. Ash, in particular, was very caring and did far more to look after us and safeguard our well-being during the works than just fitting our kitchen.

Pauline and Terry.

blockquote_img2Dear Amo, Satt and Team, This is a very belated note in saying a very big thank you to you, for our lovely new kitchen you fitted for us in March. It is a late thank you because our decorator was quite a while before he could come and we were awaiting new windows. But eventually we are finished and we are more than pleased.

Thank you for your dedicated help and attention to detail. We would certainly come to you again and recommend others (which we have done !!) You never know we may find a bungalow, in the future, which would need a new kitchen. But I am very happy with the one we have. It is Mr !! Who wants to move. Take Care, Regards to you all.

Rita and Mike Kimberley.

blockquote_img2Tony and Carol Callaghan from Highgate in Walsall already had their dream kitchen, storage area and utility room installed by Broadway so the choice of designer/contractor for the next project of a new bathroom with a walk-in bath was obvious.

“I really can’t believe that it’s all done” said Carol “people ask me if it’s good and I say ‘NO, it’s brilliant’. “Carol enthused: “Broadway made us feel like their best customers – they re-scheduled all their workload to fit us in and made sure we got our wish within a very speedy timescale which fitted around our holiday.”

“The old bathroom was all stripped out, one wall removed and another built but Broadway followed our wishes to the letter and we got just what we wanted” said Tony. “We never had one of the workmen say that they couldn’t do their part of the job because someone else hadn’t finished their task. Each specialist task in the Broadway team was carefully and meticulously planned by Amo the project manager. The whole process was smooth as clockwork and Amo’s very practical approach and ‘can do’ philosophy ensured that there was never a problem.

The workmen were so quiet, so tidy and so swift that you wouldn’t have known they were there working continuously through the job.”

“Now we’re setting our minds to re-designing the lounge, dining room and study – then perhaps we’ll rename our abode as Broadway House,” joked Carol.

blockquote_img2We are returning to the UK very shortly after 24 yrs with the Army in Germany. Our house has been rented out for 17 years and was in desperate need of a facelift. We phoned 5 kitchen companies, and saw them all. Each one pushed us considerably over our budget and wasn’t really meeting our needs.

As soon as Satt Came to see us things began to look up, we were invited to breakfast at their showroom the next day. The kitchens on display are stunning and I thought way out of our price range, how wrong was I. Satt worked with us designing every aspect, which we could watch coming together on a large screen in front of us. We are nowhere near their largest spenders but they treated us as though we were spending a million pounds. Needless to say we signed with Broadway and returned to Germany, trusting them to stay on time with delivery and fitting.

Amo is in charge of getting the kitchen built and you can tell he takes pride in his company. I have numerous emails and phone calls with updates and suggestions, he really is delightful to deal with. They have made us feel like family and although our kitchen has not yet been fitted, they deserve 5 stars for good old fashioned manners and excellent service. Nothing has been too much trouble and we will be recommending their services to everyone here in the British Forces.

Siobhan Peters.

blockquote_img2“Particularly when you’re in your retirement years you would like your home to be as comfortable and practical as possible where everything is at hand. The thought of disruption puts many people off having work done, contractors coming, or not, when they say and making a mess everywhere is the last thing that anybody wants. If you fancy spending some of your savings on a luxury kitchen but you don’t want to be overcharged, we know where to go.”

For Tony and Carol Callaghan from Highgate in Walsall the decision was easy. Carol continues, “Many years previously my mother had invested in a bespoke, traditional kitchen, hand-built by a local family-run company that is still run by the same family – with the same designer of almost 40 years experience.

“A visit to the Broadway Kitchens’ showroom quickly convinced us that our dream of a fitted kitchen could easily be realised and achieved well within our budget.

“Clean modern lines, well lit, with curves in all the right places, all appliances inbuilt and soft-close doors was the order of the day. Admiration for the kitchen, design, workmanship etc from friends and neighbours has made people realise that they too can realise their dreams by purchasing a Broadway Kitchen.

“We have been so happy with the service from Broadway Kitchens that we asked for help in making the most of an under-utilised area adjacent to the kitchen. The area designed and built by Broadway now incorporates a downstairs WC with purpose-built wash hand basin plus washing machine and sleek cupboards housing coats, vacuum cleaner, ironing board and a separate larder unit.

“The next project is to be the bathroom, hopefully to be fitted with a walk-in bath to make life even more comfortable now and into the future. I am sure all will be installed to our satisfaction.

“I have to say the care that was taken to respect our home and daily routine was wonderful, each night every effort was made to clean up the ‘work evidence’ so that our house was tidy. The after-sales service could not be better and the quality of the kitchen itself is sufficient recommendation to neighbours and friends.

“Broadway Kitchens is a family-run business that really means ‘family’. We have been treated with respect, attention and care from all the staff, whatever their position. Here’s to the next forty-plus years of Broadway Kitchens – A Family Business.”

Tony and Carol Callaghan.

blockquote_img2Dear Amo, Satt & Staff, We purchased our Warwick kitchen from Broadway a few months ago. We are delighted with the finished result and the excellent service we received from yourself and all of your staff.

As you know I had an accident with one of the doors recently but one phone call to yourself and it was resolved in a few days. So reassuring to know your excellent after sales service is always available. We would have no hesitation in recommending Broadway to anyone who wants that something different and special. Thank you all.

Ron & Margaret Edwards.

blockquote_img2Now that we have had our kitchen installed, we have found it totally practical and suits all our cooking and entertaining requirements.

Not only that, it looks fantastic as well. From start to finish your company has not only met my high standards, but exceeded them… (Small extract from 2 page letter)

Tony Christie and family, Lichfield and Amarillo.

blockquote_img2We approached several kitchen companies claiming to do Bespoke Kitchens but when we asked them to fit the niche to the right of the chimney breast, they said they couldn’t make those sizes and could only work with certain sizes. So I asked them why they were advertising themselves as a bespoke kitchen company and they came up with feeble excuses which didn’t make sense. So when you said that Broadway could make bespoke cabinets to fit any space we were especially delighted – but the end result is fantastic and we shall certainly be recommending Broadway to family and friends.

It took me several years to persuade my wife to have a new kitchen, as she was worried about the disruption. The reality however couldn’t have been further from her concerns. Satt initially took time to get to know our way of life and thus helped us come up with a design that worked for us.

There was no pushing, just straightforward suggestions for us to consider whilst incorporating our own ideas. The only real mess was on day 1 when the old kitchen was removed. Even the ensuing plastering and re-wiring was done in a speedy and tidy manner such that in no time at all Barry was able to commence fitting the carcases. My wife was especially pleased that she was only without the use of her washing machine for the first 2 days.

Throughout the project Amo kept in touch, advising us of unit, hob, oven and plumbing deliveries, arranging for the electrician to complete and even suggesting little tweaks to the design based upon practical and aesthetic considerations. A major design issue for us was the replacement of 6 built-in cupboard doors from floor to ceiling. These were produced in Broadway’s factory to match our chosen unit design. The result was stunning. It wasn’t easy for us to choose between a Corian or Granite worktop but when Dean had finished the Corian installation we were extremely pleased with the final effect.

I cannot emphasise enough how professional, yet friendly, Broadway were whilst delivering a kitchen of real quality. It was a pleasure to have them in our home and their project management is second to none founded upon the simple expedient of excellent communications between every member of the team.

I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending their services to anyone who wants to enjoy a slick, well planned and well executed process that delivers the kitchen of your dreams.

Mr and Mrs Alan Rogers. West Midlands.

blockquote_img2Dear Satt, I just wanted to write to thank you so much for my beautiful kitchen! Everyone, without exception, who has come into my home has complimented me on my designer kitchen and remarked on the workmanship. The obvious question was asked – what company had produced such perfection and I was proud to pass on your name. I am so pleased I came to Broadway, as I have my very own ‘to die for kitchen’, which I never expected to get… You have definitely set the benchmark for any tradesmen who contemplate any job at my house…(small extract from 2 page letter).

Jayne M Addis, Wolverhampton.

blockquote_img2Dear Satt and Amo, …Every section of our kitchen project from designing, production and finally the installation was performed to the highest of standards and quality and the level of thought and attention to detail would not, in our opinion, have been matched by any other company… Our sincere thanks goes out to Satt who designed our kitchen and who had the vision to make our dreams come true…. to Amo who manufactured our design. You took the worry out of this whole project and de-stressed all situations. When a problem arose you went out of your way to find the best possible solution to ensure perfection – a master technician! To Barry and Mike, you have installed our kitchen to nothing short of perfection – you came to our home as guests and left as friends… (Small extract from 2 page letter).

Andrew and Juliette Ling, Ipswich.

blockquote_img2To all of you at Broadway we’d really like to say, a thank you for the work you’ve done in your own original way! You’ve done the most amazing job so we have taken time, to sit and write a note of thanks, that’s written all in rhyme. To Satt on his computer who first designed it all, to Ricky with his ready smile who tiled around the wall. To Amo and his team of men who built it with such care, and Derek who works so quietly you hardly know he’s there. Clive and his son Simon the demolition crew, beneath the dust and rubble you’re great at what you do! To all the lads who lift, and make sure things are right, we love your sense of humour, you keep it day and night! And don’t forget the office crew, they’re always by the phone, to answer any query without a single moan. We think you are all wonderful, we put you to the test. And everyone at Broadway – WE THINK YOU ARE THE BEST!

Jill, Mark, Sam and Jacob Crawford, Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham.

blockquote_img2“Due to the very high standard and quality of the bedroom we have now decided to commission a kitchen* from you. And we are sure you will be hearing from our friends and colleagues who were also very impressed.” (*NOTE: he did indeed commission a kitchen)

blockquote_img2Both Ann and I felt compelled to write to you, to express our delight with the kitchen which your company designed and fitted for us recently. From the moment that we entered your showroom for the first time we enjoyed that very rare commodity that money cannot buy and that is caring. From start to finish, both you and your staff left us with the impression that no job was more important than ours. You set out to exceed our expectations and you most certainly succeeded. Everything about your business says quality – the designs, the kitchens and the people. Ann and I would unreservedly recommend you and your business. Thank you so much for your help.

blockquote_img2Satt and the staff at Broadway Kitchens are superb. I cannot praise them highly enough. The showroom is a delight, the products are amazing and the coffee is freshly ground! Everything is relaxed and friendly. As soon as the planning permission comes through we will be placing our order for a new Broadway Kitchen. It was well worth the journey from Essex.
